Without friendship first, there is no true love...

“She ditched me… @#*##*@*@*”, Ronnie was shouting on top of the voice. This time he goofed up again. “Damn” he told,” these buggers always mess up with my life. I told you if they came to know this only will happen”. It’s ok Ronnie, she was not the last girl on the earth,Riya was telling him. “I will not leave them, they went and told her that there is this guy crazy about you and now that girl doesn’t even looks at me, Riya all your effort down the drain”

Riya and Ronnie’s bonding was gaining speed. All the classmates of Ronnie were noticing Ronnie but Riya and Ronnie were lost in their own dreamland of friendship. The major point of attraction was Ronnie and Riya were from totally different streams and there was none other them in the college from their streams interacting with each other. So they were in short talk of the town. They kept on meeting every 15 days, no calls but it seemed there was something that awaited.

2:00pm

Riya was in her room chatting with friends, her cell phone ringed “Hello Hi Ronnie..How come you called at this time some work?” “nah nothing was getting bored so thought of bugging you” smirked Ronnie. "So stop bugging me and find some time pass for yourself go and watch some movie" frowned Riya. “Or shall we go together?” “Ok, fine I’ll pick you up @6 will call you before coming. C ya “.

Riya looked at her watch 6pm “where is this guy?” She was already ready for going and this guy was nowhere to be seen. She waited …he didn’t come.

9:00pm

"Hello Riya..I am sorry i am very sorry..i felt asleep..I am very sorry..I promise i wil make it up..i wil take you out for a movie..Promise..." "Listen Ronnie..No need to say sorry..It's ok.." Riya replied coldly.".No its not ok Riya..you must have been waiting"argued Ronnie."Waiting and me..please forget it..i was not waiting..So chill and forget about it.. C ya tom @ college."

Yes this is Ronnie missed his first date with Riya..but it seems destiny had something else in its mind for these two..

Back with Ronnie and Riya

Ronnie and Riya came to know each other of course though Fraud but there was some chemistry between which kept them crossing their ways again and again. In the college there was several times when Ronnie and Riya met but they just passed with a smile.

Ronnie didn’t wanted to cross his ways with her..may coz she was a tomboy at heart. But still what we call destiny makes way and they had to become best of the friends. God made a way, books yes books the best way in the college. Ronnie wanted few books from the library which was not available in his course library, unwillingly he went to Riya to ask her for a favor, get few books issued for him.

And from here books became the catalyst for them. Every 15 days Ronnie had to meet Riya willingly or unwillingly to renew the books for himself. They started speaking to each other Ronnie never went personal with Riya just normal Hi’s and Bye’s were enough for him. But again Ronnie needed Riya...he just couldn’t think of someone else... ? yes Ronnie was in love... no no not with Riya, but with a girl in his course. And he wanted Riya’s help for it.

He called up Riya one day asking her out and meeting him at @coffee. Riya came to meet him and he told his feelings to her and asked her to help him out. She agreed and told him she will try to speak to that girl for him. But Ronnie was too excited to wait. He did a blooper in his excitement. Ronnie had a booze party next day with his few friends and @2 he called up Riya ?. Riya was busy reading ‘da vinci code’ (bookworm) ,she got a shock when she saw Ronnie’s name on display on her mobile screen@2. “Ronnie never calls me this late must me something urgent” mumbled Riya. ‘Hello Ronnie was sup?’ said Riya, ‘So you did nothing for me, 2 days already over and you did nothing for me I see now what sort of a friend you are. ‘screamed Ronnie from the other side. ‘See Yaar….’ Riya tried to speak only to be cut short by Ronnie’s reply “Nothing Yaar my name is Ronnie pay some respect ” Riya could not stop giggling on the other side, Ronnie drunk and furnishing such lovely statements. “Ok Ok Ronnie I am very sorry I will defiantly speak to that gal tomorrow and call you up. Till then take care good night”.

“Good night”, Ronnie’s voice fading on the other end. Riya couldn’t help smiling on this incident.

Ronnie was not to be seen for few days in the college, Riya didn’t mind his absence though. A week later Ronnie and Riya crossed their way while coming back from the college “hey Ronnie” Riya waved. Hey, Ronnie smiled back.

Today Riya and Ronnie met for the first time…..
2005, August....
She was sitting chatting with her Gang ,awarded as the most notorious batch of all time in the history of the college…and they all sat happily chatting away in the canteen and having sips of 'Adrak wali chai' or as you guys call..Ginger tea...cups after cups...endless talks and endless beverages…for them….that was life..for them friends..Studies..parties..
The canteenwalah was more than happy with these kids...his business was soaring day by day...just because of them...
And here comes Ronnie with his Friend…..'Fraud'…..
Ronnie is finding the hustle bustle of the college quite exciting...And Fraud he was his old school friend…and studying in this college..So he is just roaming with Ronnie and making him acquainted in the college….
Ronnie wanted some tea….
They enter the canteen where Riya is also sitting with her gang…Ronnie gets 2 cups of coffee. .he doesn’t likes tea much…and starts watching the ambience around him..Fraud suddenly starts off....Hey man…this college is rocking and i really hope you settle down soon..And tell you what there is saying in this college...”you have to make a girlfriend in this college”...this is the most in…. thing…...So Fraud at your Service...tell me the girl you find most attractive and i will try to convince her to say YES to you...This is a guys promise...
Ronnie was amazed by his comment but he knew Fraud and his blabbering habit...he told oohh..hhhhh yes..why not...i like......hummmmm....hummmmm....and he looked around...That girl...Sitting there...in blue..i like her...i want her to be my Girlfriend...
Fraud..looked up to her...and he turned pale..he started off.. no.. no.. no.. no.. man not that girl..someone else..please....
Ronnie was adamant…you only said…now i want only that girl to be my girlfriend...if you can't do it…..just stop boasting….go off..
Fraud's face was getting paler and paler...Suddenly Ronnie realized...and looked at fraud's face…'Shit..man..Don't tell me............. She is your.....and...i am.........ohh.. god...Shit …Shit...man i am so sorry.....I was just kidding...don't take it in other way..i didn't know...

'Hi fraud'...suddenly Riya was standing next to their Table...Smiling and looking as amazing as ever...
Yes My dear friends...Riya was Fraud's Girlfriend....
And in that moment Riya came into Ronnie's life...and they met for the first time...

Let me introduce you to a girl..hummmm...lets call her Riya(I think you must have seen this gal around you many times but may have failed to recognise her...So after reading this watch out for her and keep your eyes open..) And a cute chap..say....Romi..(loaded with tons of Attitude... donno why..but by the end when you know him..he is a gem of a person..one to be treasured forever..)
You all must be thinking who are they..and why the hell she is telling us about them...but to tell you guys very frankly i also meet them very recently to be very precise..15th October 2009..The day when everything changed.....for them...

But let me tell you something if you guys expecting any happy ending to my post...please stop reading now..coz...not ever story finds it's destiny..

First let us go and meet Riya:

Aaah..she is busy.planning with an outing with her friends..yes she is in college too..and like all others..she is hep and happening..But dare not consider as hot and sexy..(as you all have might even started to think..).She is smart..fun..cute...and full fo energy and life..Yes exactly like the girls you are friends with..But a note about her she is fun to be with...always loaded with energy..making plans..going places..making friends..'Aur wo to jaan hai apne group ki'..aisa sab kehte hain..

And the day..they met..yes Riya and Roni..some chemical locha happened between them...they clicked together.....fighting..chatting..partying..they didn't even know when they became best of friends..

FRIENDS FOREVER...even they thought the same..but life is quite unpredictible right..
